Is Plowing w/ a 2wd dually possible in the snow, or does it slide around just like a single?

What kind of truck is it? You could get by with put drive tires in back and a lot of weight out back and if not hilly.

Wayne:
I used to live in your area. Plowed with 4x4 and 2x4 trucks. A 2x4 werks great until you have one of those heavy wet snows where you need momentum to push. Basically have to ram the piles alot. We ran a salt spreader in the box, loaded obviously werked better than empty.
Got a question non related...Is Serginos restaurant still on College avenue? That place is awesome...How about DAugustinos in Carol Stream?

A local guy uses a 2wd Chevy dually stake truck with a the largest V-plow BOSS makes (10'??). They were pushing a lot in a truck terminal, but had a large salt spreader loaded to the max (guessing 3-4 yd). But there's nothing like 4 wheel drive when it comes to the wet stuff.
