Hello K. Carothers,
What part of the North Hills are you in? I am in the South Hills (South Park). I used to have a ton of lawn care (fertilizing) customers in Fox Chapel, Allison Park, Shaler, Gibsonia, Ross, etc. I am now in irrigation pretty much all over the city. There is a huge potential in the N Hills for lawncare - particularly Cranberry. I've read some of your posts. If you are looking for fertilizer, go see Mark & Brad at Lesco. They are right off of I79.

Good Luck,
Rob

I'm over in Hanover. Greenskeeper1, I'm in Hanover too! What'cha driving? We might have passed each other already. Is Greenskeeper your business name too? I run a red Ford Ranger with a 6X12 trailer and a Scag Tiger Cub. Why do the bigger companies around here use tractors? Every large company I see uses JD tractors or some other brand. Ain't that unefficient?
I'm not that long in the business, but ZTR's would sure save them alot of time. I won't mention names, but the 2 biggest companies in Hanover both use tractors. 1 uses Deere and the other uses Simplicity. Maybe it's a farm... thing....????

Most of my work is local here in the Lock Haven area. But I do work on occasion from State College to Williamsport, and on occasion go even further, but only with the pressure washing business. I do some plowing in Jersey Shore, but no mowing as of yet past McElhattan. I have a landscaper friend of mine doing some work in Williamsport with some new large townhouse setups. He asked me if I was interested in do the mowing. But as of right now, it's just talk.

My brother-in-law also has a business (solo) and he said he saw you mowing up near Arden Lane. Do you mow alot in Saucon? Where else? Still doing any cleanups?

Mike,
We do alot of mowing in SV. Other areas are Palmer and Bethlehem Twp. and alot on College Hill. We work in one area each day of the week. I don't skip around. Last, I just got home from doing cleanups. About another week to finish. It's a real bite to wait till spring to do them. Stop and say hello if we're not to busy! Matt

Hey Masonman,
Do you do any mowing? I happen to have a rather nice account off of 11-15 between dillsburg and york springs, that im going to be unloading this year. It is just to far out of my routes. Mine are all in Mechanicsburg, and Camp hill/Harrisburg area. Let me know if you would be interested, i will probably be unloading it in late April or early May. You can have it for free if you want it. Takes me 40 minutes to do all the mowing and trimming $65.00 a week. It is a small commmercial account.

hi i live in covington and am bidding on the grounds for the Rod and Gun Club in Blossburg. Where do you hunt? You should stop in the county courthouse next time you are up and go to the GIS (Geographic Information Systems) department. Thats where I work and you can get a big aerial photo of the lands you hunt there.
Have a good season!
