i had a lady call me today wanting her grass cut one more time this year. the thing is, its 38 degrees and snowing. will this have any long term effect on the grass or is it hardy enough to survive?

thanks,

First rule of thumb, "the customer is always right". Cut her lawn, take her money, smile, thank her, and if the turf is tired in the spring...... fix it and take her money again, smile..... you get the point.

This doesn't answer your question, but if someone calls us now, I just answer and say that the equipment has all been winterized and stored away. Personally I don't think it's worth it to haul out like that just for one cut.

I would explain to her that it isnt the best thing to do for the grass being what the weather is like. Then if she still insists in it being cut, I would have to charge her tripple for going out for just one cut.

go mow her lawn at regular price if she signs up for snow removal

I second that idea.
