Following my theory that you should always apply according to soil tests, I am spreading trip 19 on some lawns and 5-10-31 10%FE on others....
What are you guys spreading?
I spread some triple 19 on my lawn today, and boy was it cold with the wind blowing.

Soil testing indicated a few of my bermuda clients were very low in phosphorus. These were accounts I just started with in the past few months.
Since the bermuda is now dormant, I have applied 18-46-0 DAP to boost the phosphorus in preparation for next Spring. The N right now serves no purpose, however.
Poa annua can be a big problem in this area, so in late January some will get an application of simazine.
