I don't want to bash our sponsors but I've heard more than one person mention this, but anyway here is the question how many of you have signed up for turf magazine and received it and how many did not receive it.

I thought maybe it was just the bad luck I tend to have but maybe our sponsors will take note of this post and be more thorough with request but on the good side I never have this problem with PRO MAGAZINE.

Maybe they are just busy. It took a while for me to get my 1st one too. I get them all now, but honestly, I rarely read them. So much of what is in there seems to be aimed at the larger or mid-sized company. There isn't much coverage for the smaller or solo operator in there. I'd like to see more of that, along with tips for growth and handling employees.

I had to subbmit mine three times and still didn't get anything. I finally E-mailed the head sales person that got the subscription going.

it took me a while to receive my first copy, but like MTD said it really is worthless, especially Mr. Cassidy's "Editor's Notes" articles. The last 3 to 4 have been completely pointless and nothing related to the industry. This months one is about the Red Sox. Sure I am happy that they won, but why the heck have it in the magazine.

It goes in spurts for me, sometimes they are great at getting them to me but sometimes i dont get one for months, but for getting something for free we sure are complaining about it. ;)

It's all free Mark. Flip thorugh the pages and look at the ad's for eXmark,Hustler,Ferris and others and that is who is paying for the magizine. Not you or I or anyone else.

yeah, thats what i figured, but then i saw the "U.S. $4.95" on there, so thats what threw up the red flag. Thanks for verifying it!

like i've said in the past guys... the magazine is free. no need to bash it. take what you can from it and move on. its makes great bathroom reading.

besides, you have to watch for the "New York City" guy that responds... that guy is sharp. :) watch for that guy. he had this incredible addition to the hispanic debate.. genious.

Actually I have to correct you it's $3.95 US $4.95 in Canada.

I read somewhere the reason for the prices but can't for the life of me remember where.
