alum. or steel 8 X 14 enclosed

i went and got some prices this weekend for

8 X 14 enclosed
ramp door
side door

the all alum was a featherlite
the steel frame one was a (no idea)

i asked him what the weight difference was he said about 25%

i wonder if the weight would be a factor pulling it with my chev 3/4 hd?

the prices he gave me were
9400 for the all aluminum (seems like a lot )
5200 for the steel frame with alum sides

you think it's worth the money for the alluminum?

For a trailer that small, I would go with the steel model. Your truck will be able to tow it with no problems, and you will save $4,200. For that kind of money I would look for an Isuzu NPR with a box on it. I have seen those sale for about the kind of money your posting.

Grassmaster I own 2 haulmarks i was going to buy a feather light box and the dealer showed me the weight ratois.there was not that much weight difference and the price was thru the roof high i think all you are getting is a tounge and a frame.all box trailers are made pretty much the same.I also own a featherlite flatbed.
