Realistically how much should you expect to profit per employee hour worked?

I have been doing some figuring this off season and have come up with from my Mow and Blow staff I am bottom line profiting $11.40 per man hour. That's $1,900 in my pocket per month per employee.

Good or Bad????

I don't remeber where I read it and for what services, but in was a state of the industry report that said, on average, a company was generating approx $59,000 per employee. That's probably not what you are looking for, but can be something to think about.

That's interesting. To achieve that $11.40 bottom line profit per hour, how much do you figure you have to gross?

I plugged in my numbers and came up with $29. That's a little over 39%.

Yes that's what I work off of. Average $29 per hour start of day to end of day.
$12 salary plus all extras
$5.60 all other expenses divided by 5 full times employees
