Any of you guys used a "Parker" Model "Scavenger Vacumm" to pickup the debris and what not?
Click on Parker and then Scavenger Vac!
If so, did you guys find it very useful or what? I'm planning on purchasing one to pickup leaves...

This is another one of those machine that it is better to rent once and try on your properties before you buy it. I have one and it works fine for some things but it just takes up too much room in the cube van to carry around for the few times I need it. I have other equipment that works better for more jobs. I think it would work good for picking up litter like glass bottles, gravel etc. I have had a few different brands and types of these over the years, I bought this one cheap and will likely resell it at the spring auction.

How does it work picking up leaves, hedge clippings, sticks and twigs that are laying on the grass?

alpine, I also have a troybilt chipper/vac that I bought to clean up hedge trimmings. Neither one works very well but the troybuilt is handier because it has the chipper on it and can be fed by hand. Twigs and sticks are almost impossible to pick up with any type of vac system. I also have a brush for the front of my JD 920 and it works bettter to windrow then clean up.
They both will pick up leaves but they both fill up pretty quick. I have the hose attachment and have never even used it yet. Like I said mine will likely end up at auction.

Suction is very good. It will pick up wet leaves, glass bottles and cans off of the concrete.

Yes, thats good to know!
I will be using it to pick up grass clippings, hedge clippings, leaves.. That's my purpose of buying it instead of the regular blowing onto tarp, or raking it and then hauling it off.. takes too much time!!

Have you looked into the LittleWonder HPV?

Okay, I just went through the internet and saw the Little Wonder HPV..
Whats the diff with Little Wonder HPV and the Scavenger Vac? Looks the same to me??

Just giving you different options - I don't have a Parker dealer near me - only a Little Wonder. The Scavenger Vac, if that's the one I'm looking at, has a horizontal vacuum "blower" - whereas the HPV is vertical.
