Looking to start Question

I,m looking to start my own business this year, you may be curious why i'm on this site if I do not have my own company. I have been doing this work for five year and now i'm ready to start my own business. The company that I worked for was my fathers. I have been waiting to make my own company because I have different views then he does. He has offered to help me to start the company. My question is because i'm just starting should I put him as a co-signer or should I take the licenses. WE ARE IN THE WEST COAST, IF YOU GET CAUGHT WITHOUT A LANDSCAPE OR PESTICIDE LICENSE ITS LIKE A $20,000 FINE (if you landscape or spray). What should I do, I would like to start with a professional image so if some suggestions could be made I would appreciate it

I think you know the answer, you just need to use us as an excuse or maybe you don't really want to hear it. If your really going on your own, than do that. Take the license.
