I am thinking about buying some software to help with scheduling, billing, ect. I have been looking lawnmonkey, groundskeeper and clip software. I am having trouble deciding what is the best. I am looking for any one who has been using a program and is really happy with it. also if you could put in it's pros and cons. thanks

I have the old posts from these on the links search page on my website. Scroll down to Clip or Lawnmonkey and you can have lots of reading on them. I see I need to add Groundskeeper to this. Here is the url for my page. http://www.elmlawnsite.com/lawnsite_post_links.htm and you can always book mark it or click on the middle link below to find this page.

Here is the search results on Groundskeeper.

I hope this helps.

it doesn't work with quickbooks YET. they said by early summer they have a upgrade that is coming out that will allow the program to hook up with quickbooks..

I am also looking at Gopher 98. There are a couple of things I don't like about it. The reporting leaves a <b><i>lot</b></i> to be desired. I like to know a lot of stats like the number of $30.00 cuts I've done and other little stats. The product list won't sort your products by amount or title. It just keeps adding new products to the bottom of the list. Also, for some odd reason, it doesn't print envelopes. It does a very adequate job of scheduling and basic accounting though. It will run different routes for different crews if you need this function.

If you want an inexpensive ($299.00) program that will handle the basics this is the program to get. It is very easy to setup and use.

"it doesn't print envelopes."

It is much more economical and time saving to format your invoices to fit window envelopes.
