Looks good! Can you center the text in the middle of the trailer rather then towards the back? Or do you like it better where its at?

Carolina Cutter
01-16-2005, 03:24 PM
Got pictures of it both ways. The centered version looks kinda off to me. The reason I suggested doing it there is because the other side has a 32" door and it is near the back so I thought it would be better to have them the same.

Can't see but one side at the time. I agree it would look better centered. Providing "for" all Lawn Maintenance Needs? Take out the "for'. .... Providing all lawn maintenance needs, or, providing all "your" lawn maintenance needs. Other than that, looks good to me. By the way, when did you get the trailer, and how is your Ranger going to handle it?

Yea...I saw that too.....but my sign shop has assured me that this was a first draft....they know about it and its already fixed at their location...this was just the pictures I had.

Picked it up about a week ago....so far the ranger does just fine when the trailer is loaded. BUT....I plan on updating to a larger truck. Have looked at several....just closed the trailer deal first.

Gogetter's right. Maintenance is mis-spelled. Before you commit with Stone, You need to talk to the guy who did mine. You've seen it, right? He's my neighbor. Did mine for $250.00, both sides, rear, and name on the front.

Gonna have to bargin with the sign place now....LOL. Actually they are giving me what I consider a good deal. What you see is going to run $200. They are one of my customers. The trailer has a v-nose and I thought about putting something there......what do you think?

How about....."providing solutions for all lawn maintenance problems"

I dunno know. I personally like "needs" better. Just my opinion. You know what they say about opinions though. There like A$$ holes, everybodys got one.

Just an Idea for better exposure,

Right side on the escape door, have them do a parital list of what you do, i.e. mowing, tree, shrubs, mulch ect.

L Side have them incorporate the same thing.

I would also see if they have a different graphic for the grass. If you do any mait. on gardens see if they can scatter some other plant species into the design. You are trying to get people to really look at your trailer.

P.S. I'm Jealous, I want an enclosed trailer too!!!!!

You are the second person to say that. But does "providing all lawn maintenance needs" sound better? Sounds like I am providing the need to be taken care of to me.

On the other hand...."providing for all maintenance needs" sounds to me like I am providing for the need.....like a child needs food.....I am providing.

Would "providing solutions to your lawn maintenance problems" sound better??

I agree......That doesn't sound right at all. It's like you know what you want to say, but it just can't come out right. I wouldn't put it on the way you have it now. Keep kicking it around and it will come to you. But as it is now, just isn't right.

Providing for all your maintenance needs...it needs another word like I added or something to that effect. "For" by itself creates an incomplete thought.

In the last one, "problems" doesn't sound appropriate...change it to needs or something.

I would use something like...

The solution to your lawn care problems

Providing quality service for all of your lawn care needs

We take pride in your lawn

Measuring success by the yard ( I have this on my signs)

Solutions for lawn care needs.

Sorry to be so picky, just my 2 cents.

what type of push mower is that?

Carolina Cutter
01-25-2005, 09:26 PM
That would be my $100 Murry 19". Yep, I said it. I use this to do the small islands better known by me as humps at a commercial site. The humps are not big enough for the 36 and on that particular stretch of road there is way to much "unknown" things hiding in the grass to use an expensive mower. I have to say that even though some may frown upon it I am on my second year with it and it runs and cuts great. I think I got my monies worth out of it,,,,,,LOL

Jeff,

I know that some of those guys were "tough" on you about the designs on the outside, but I don't think that anyone will have anything negative to say about the completed product! That's a good looking unit.
Could you send me the details on your trimmer line holder. I can see the spring in the rear, but I can't tell exactly what it is made out of.

Thanks,

Jay

1" square tubing with 5/8" I think rod welded to it. Drill a hole in the outside layer of the tubing and slide the rod thru hole and then weld up. Then on that I placed some washers, a spring, and a cotter pin to hold it all together. About $5 for the whole thing.
