Sorry it took so long but ive been real busy lately ..Most of the ground is a sand base down here . Especially when ya go toward sthe ft. lauderdale area.
The prep is hardly nothing ..The sod will hold in the sand no problem at all ..I just rake out all the rock and loosin the soil (very easy) . especially after a pool was just put in ... We also put a sprinkler system in underneath all that stuff ..

I got some more pics of a job we just did this pat week aslo ..ill post em as soone as i download out of camera ....

Thanks for the compliments guys ..means alot :)

That grass probably will die in a couple of months from foot traffic. And its gonna be a pain to keep those beds clean of weeds in the summer. All in all it looks really good. What parts of South Florida do you work in?

Well there will be no foot traffic threw this grass area , at least not alot. The gate for the back yard is where i put the rock and made an entrance that flows threw the eugenias to a patio ..weeds no problem ...Im not like a lotta guys down here ..i use 2-4 inches of mulch easily to slow the weeds down a little bit ....Other scapers here use maybe 1in, just so they can make an extra 10 dollars ..Not me..

And the answer to the second question is :

Plantation acres , weston and southwest ranches areas ....i like the bigger properties ..i hate to drive :)

This job was in the hollywood area ..definately the best lookin house on the block now ...

I am a solo op that only works in Weston. I used to work in Fort Lauderdale, but i sold my accounts due to the heavy competition. The funny part is I was seeing higher prices in fort Lauderdale than in weston. But in Weston everybody hires LCO's, unlike Lauderdale.
What developments in Weston do you have accounts in?
