Anybody know where to find those nowadays? You know, the ones made of wire like a minnow trap and stapled on the sides?

I got one of the newer stainless shields that filter but thats not what I really want..

Thanks

Thanks...I didn't see them listed though. Do you know what category they're under?

I bought the wire baskets from them this summer for the lesco. I don't mean the flat mesh that sits in the bottom but the basket with the sides for cathing the smaller clumps and stuff. Just give them an email if you don't see them there.

Thanks Coyoteman..the one in the bottom is what I am looking for. I was sent the top one (newer sturdier) but I reelly like the old mesh screen.

I knew somebody had the hook-up...

Rittenhouse no longer has them and doesn't know where to get them.

Anyone else? I wish I was smart enough to make them...

Rittenhouse does not stock them but can get them. Takes about 2 weeks for delivery.

Why would somone from Texas order from Canada?
LESCO 1-800-321-5325 Item Number is 074900.

The item number you have provided (074900) is for the new style filter which Green Dreams does not want. He wants the old basket style filter. The item number is 019360. When you buy from Canada there are no taxes, duty, customs, brokerage and shipping to Texas is only $8.75

Ok 019360 is a good number. I find it hard to believe MK Rittinhouse is going to ship from Canada to Texas for free, if they do thats great, if they had them in stock to ship. Call 1-800-321-5325 LESCO has both items in stock to ship today.

I am a Lesco customer so easy there, big boy. Your guys didn't have them and told me they couldn't get them. I came here and got the hook up.

I don't have a problem with the Canadians. I wish hockey would stay gone, but thats about it. Love that Moosehead too...lol

Know what I mean, eh?

Hey chinchbug killer,

Your gonna have to learn how to make those yourself, cause lesco doesn't sell them anymore. At least that is what my store told me, cant get them.

Now last time I got some, I bought extra's so I got some stashed away for future use, and NO I will not sell any of them :p

Home cheapo should have all the stuff to make them, you just need a good wire cutter and tape measure. You can do it!

Why go through all the work making your own when you can buy them already made from Canada.

Thanks Turf...I'm printing this for my local Lesco guys. I'm not going to beg anyone to take my money. I asked, they said "no" and I moved on.

Thanks Mr. Cormier. I am too dumb to make them myself...but...this is SE Texas. These rednecks could build a missle to go 5 miles if they had one with a 100 mile range to copy....

THe baskets are made by Lawn Tech in Avon Lake Ohio, the same company that invented the Shower Cap that goes over the top of a spreader

A friend of mine gave me their flyer from the GIE. I called them and they said they don't make them anymore....

I guess I need to accept that they are not out there. I got my shipment from Rittenhouse's suppiler. Same dang filters I didn't want. No problem...stuff happens. I let Toni at Rittenhouse know about the error. It wasn't her/their fault but she is cheerfully crediting my card and not worried about the return.

Now that's service we can all learn from. Trust is hugely important to me. When you find someone who firmly stands behind what they do, you can't help but admire them.

Thanks, Toni...

Thanks, Turf. My local Lesco guy has been hot on the trail. He says the same thing Toni did. They show in the system but when he calls to get them...they ain't there.

I attended a Fire Ant Conference by Bayer yesterday and rode there with another of your guys. Sat with him and fellas from 2 other stores. I whined about wishing I still had one one of these old ones. They all said what Toni did.

Please post up a pic with one of these old filters in one hand and todays front page in the other. Or can you get someone to call me with one actually in their grip? PM for number.

Thanks
