View Full Version : Homemade chute blocker

Built this "proto type" chute blocker last night. Tried it out today. Did pretty good, except for blow out from the front of the deck. It's on a Scag Advantage deck. Lowerd the adjustable baffle, but didn't seem to help. Drilled some holes in it tonight. Will try it again tommorow. Check out these Before and after pics. Even mulched up Pine Cones. Did have to double cut to get these results. Still, it beats bagging.

For some reason, I can't get my before and after pics to post. Server may be to busy. Anyway, I was encouraged by the results of my homemade chute blocker. Maybe I can get the pics up tommorow.

I don't know how this post got by me.....I never even saw it before today.
I am thinking of building one for my mower too. I tried the trimmertrap junk and was very displeased. gonna try to work on that this week.
