I know I will get hammered for this question but here it is anyway. I know a cubic yard is 3x3x3, and there is 27 cubic feet in a cubic yard. So say you have a bed that is 10x20, that is 200 square feet. How do you figure the cubic yards to fill this bed?

multilpy by the depth
4 inches is 1/3 if a foot, so multiply by .33
3 inches is .25 foot so multiply by .25
hope this helped

In addition to Yard Pros advice. You will also need to divide by 27 which will give you cu yds.
