What material, steel or alumnium? Are you selling it or buying it? If it is steel i would say between $1400 and $1800 and if it is alumnium i would say $1900-$2500. now if the trailer is enclosed i would add prolly $500 or $700 to the price.

Since i am in your area...If no options but a ramp, less than $1000. My 18' with a ramp and brakes was $1400.

In Alabama i had a custom built straight from a trailer manufacturer. 16' All steel construction 6" channel subframe with mainframe mounted on top of that 2' rear dovetail with drop gate. 5' side drop gate and 2' high mesh steel sides for hauling mulch. 3 place Trimmer racks on each side, front mount locking cage, tool holder tubes mounted on sides. 2 3000 lb axles one with brakes. Painted to match my truck for $1275.00

I know a local guy that sells 16' tandem axle trailers with split ramps and 3000# axles. they are painted black with wood floors. 1 axle has brakes. trailer has lightsand everything 2" ball. he gets them out of missouri and brings them back 7-9 at a time and sells them for less than 900. a friend of mine bought one for mowing and it held up pretty good.

I just called a place last week. For a 16' open tandem axle, with new wheels and tires, and 1 axle brake was like $1350 out the door.

We had a guy here that was selling those trailers for $1000 with gate and gate assist. I'm not sure if all their trailers come with the gate assist, but it is pretty cool. It has a spring at the bottom of the gate which isn't even noticeable unless you look for it. I called the company in Sikeston to see if they would sell me the spring kit but they said they only sell them as a option. The guy that was selling them went out of business before I could buy a new trailer from him. He had a tool shop which sold trailers too. I think the tool shop put him under.

I have a 16 foot car hauler that I recently put a new tongue & groove floor and 4 new 8 ply tires on it that I will sell. It is nice with extra lights and 2 manual jack stands that I put on it when it was new to keep trailer from pulling on the ball so hard when I loaded a heavy car or tractor. I'll take $1400.00 firm.
Thanks, Albert in Alabama

Thanks

What dealer was this? Also did it have a wrapped tongue for that price, because w/ new tires/wheels that is pretty good.

I got my trailer in a small town called New Market. It's about 20 miles northeast of Huntsville nearly on the Tennessee line. I bought straight from the manufacturer called Built Rite trailers. This guys plant turns out 20 or so a day. I have a digital camera and can send you some pics. Email me at yardman@otelco.net and i'll get with you on it.

Come on down to Highway 71 and highway 150 in south Grandview to trailer and hitch. I bought same trailer for $1,400 one year ago and love it. Pulls like a dream, can't tell I am pulling it even with a 1/2 ton pickup on it. Friends have told me the same thing. The guy is friendly and fair. He comes out of Truck trailer and hitch up in grandview, Less, but better stock of trailers.
