Need Opinions on This Price

One of my local Exmark dealers has a leftover 2004 Exmark Viking, 48" hydro with ECS controls. 15HP Kawasaki engine. It was not a demo unit, just a leftover 2004 model. He's asking $4000 plus tax. I'm not sure what the MSRP is on the unit. Is he in the ball park?

I would say it is probably a good price. I know my local dealer has Exmark and Gravely. I bought a Gravely used with 18 hours on it and in conversation he told me that this mower sold for about $4900 new. It is 48" hydro, floating deck, 15 Kawasaki, but has pistol grips. I'd still try to talk him down some more since it is left over.

Terrible price! Man I would never spend that much on that awful mower. By the way can you give me the number of the dealer?
