Based on some research and prior helpful advise on this web site, I located some excellent sources for high quality reasonably priced equipment for making & applying Compost Tea. If you have 2 or more acres of lawn or do limited tea applications in your business, check out these sites:
1. www.growingsolutions.com has commercial grade compost tea makers and supplies - The smallest is a 25 gal unit ideal for lawns 2 or more acres. Avg. cost of brew is about .50 cents per gal.( this is a high quality unit ) You can suppliment the brew with products from www.neptunesharvest.com
2. www.spotlyte.com is a company that specializes in Compost Tea sprayers for both homeowner & commercial grade needs. Includes ATV mounted, cart mounted and Tow behind lawn tractor models. The prices are very affordable and in the hundreds of dollars, not thousands. CAUTION:Other company sprayers I researched were only designed for chemicals and not suitable for compost tea, which requires specially sized pumps & nozzles. (the tow behind is a 12 volt system that runs off a garden tractor battery with a boom that speads about a 14 foot swath and has an attached gun for spot spraying) They will even custom make the sprayer to fit your needs
