Want to freelance for landscapers

Hi all.

I have a Kubota B7510 tractor with front end loader (4 foot bucket), 5 foot disc harrow, 8 foot coring aerator, 6 foot maintainer blade, 4 foot box blade, 5 foot finish mower, middle buster, 6 foot rock rake, and post hole digger with 9 inch auger. I have a 4 foot 24 inch diameter water filled drum roller. Finally, I also have a drag harrow, for smoothing.

I normally do tractor brush hog mowing, at $35/hr minimum 2 hrs, on small acreage up to about 8 acres. Further, for that price, I do finish mowing as well.

I do light dirt work for $40/hr as well (minimum 2 hrs). For post holes, I charge $4/hole, minimum 20 holes.

I would like to do some subcontracting for area landscapers. Here are my questions:

1. How much off my existing rates should I charge a landscaper, or should my costs be passed along to the customer?

2. Should I still maintain my 2 hour minimum?

3. Should I just sub to one landscaper, or as many as I can?

4. How should I contact these folks? I see them all the time. Face to face? Send them a flyer?

those prices are cheap.
you should be getting more.
we get $35.00 for a man and a rake. you should be getting $65-70/hr for the tractor and YOU as an operator.
the rental places get $25/ hr for the tractor alone without an operator.

want to move to florida. you won't need but one cause i will keep u busy as hell at those prices
