thats the price you pay for comm mowers. Maybe landscpe supply has one cheaper

I stumbed across some realativly cheap filters on E-bay once, maybe try that.

Thats smart, cheap out on the air filters and buy a new engine. Pay the $80. In my manual it says you replace it every 600 hours. It isn't that often.

that price seems a bit high, I think I paid 30 but it was for the outer filter only ? I don't know try contacting toro and seeing how much it would be to get directly from them if possable?

Find someone who has a toro, get one of your buddies to talk to him while you sneek on his trailer and swap them out. Git R Dun!!!
