:HAVE A DUMB ? A JUST GOT A 1995 FORD RANGER P/ U 4X4 WITH EXTRA SPRINGS. I WAS THINKING ABOUT SETTING IT UP FOR A TRAILER WHAT I WANT TO KNOW CAN I PULL A 16' TANDEM TRAILER WITH EQ. ON IT ? PLUS THIS WILL ONLY BE USE IN A PINCH ONLY IF MY F250 IS DOWN. BACK UP!! :help:

we have used a 94 s10 with the 2.8 and a 5 speed to pull a 16ft tandem. you really knew it was back there, but it worked oK.

I think it would work just fine, especially if you only use it as spare.

I own a Ford Ranger. If you have the 4cyl. I doubt that you will even be able to get up to highway speed with a trailer - especially if you have a gate on the back. A 6cyl might be okay.
