I just upgraded to qbpro 2005 from qb 1999. Some things are a bit different. For instance, I can't seem to figure out if you can automatically apply credit balances to new statement charges without going through the receive payments menu. I've got people who have paid in advance for items that are showing up in the A/R reports with both the negative credit balance and then again with the statement charges against it. Is there a way to automatically apply the credits to the charges so they won't show up?

I can't answer your question, but wanted to know if it was really worth updating from 99 to 2005? I was planning on upgrading this week. Most of the reviews on Amazon.com were neg for QB pro 2005.
Also, Does 2005 have a tearoff invoice template?

I really haven't learned all the new bells and whistles yet of the new program. But there is so much more on the update that it certainly seems worth it. All the potential add ons and extra tools are nice. I think it will let me do a lot more than the old 99 program did.
