Did anyone else see the article in Lawn and Landscape Magazine (Feb. 05) that features quotes by James Cormier? I just received my new issue in the mail today, and noticed his name in an article titled "Standing Out". Just wanted to give James some "props", and let all of you know that he was quoted in this article.
Congrats, James!

Maybe he took a job as a Perma Green Sales Rep
yes, Jim is alive and well.
Currently he is touring the nation promoting Perma Green Ride-on at every lawn care operation he can find.
If he has visited your operation you know what a convincing sales person he is! If he has not yet visited your operation...be patient, he'll get to you in due time, you see he is actually traveling on a PG unit...at 5 MPH it may seem like a fast machine on a lawn but on the express way...well, it aint so fast.
You can email Jim at ILoveMyPG.com to be sure you are on his list.

It's funny for years we have told People at L&L that if you dont like something dont read it, just pass it by.
I was sent an email saying my Signature had been edited because if I had it up on here then others offereing similar services would want to do the same. I had it on here for the longest time too, but we dont own the forum, so we either have to respect the rules or go somewhere else. So be it.

I looked at that site today for some reason and saw a post that he is back. I guess he may started over at L&L. Sounds like no one cared if he was back or is that dry/sarcastic humor over their.
That board they have is the worse style I have every seen. That scrolling through each post is 40 years old. Who wants to look at every single message if your only interested in pesticide topics or organics, etc.

DLS1, I guess after being there for so long ya just get used to it.
I can always tell what the thread is about by reading the initial post. If I dont like it I skip it.
BTW, dry humor. LOL

actually us regulars at L&L cant stand Cormier! I mean the guy comes around every now and then and makes all kinds of trouble. He breaks all the forum rules and in general is just a pain in the neck. Besides, his real agenda at L&L is to sell those darn PG units. Its like he's possessed!! What a nut case.

Well, Im not sure if any of you remember him in here, but I heard some bad new on the radio today.
It seems James was returning from his cross country trip on the pg and he had a high speed blow out with one of the front tires and ran off the road in up state NY
Because of the speed of the crash and the lack of protective equipment he was wearing it seems he didn't survive the crash:cry: He will be missed.
Like Johny Appleseed before him, this Native of Leominster spent the last year circling the states planting the seeds of growth in small LCO's budgets by introducing them to the fine machine he lost his life on.
RIP PG Jimi

This was not funny!!! What a naive fool I am. I read those first few paragraphs and started to get choked up. I did not read the rest of the post right away. I was about to call a friend of mine who knows of James. Geez... I was already starting to think about how I can contact his family to offer my sympathy and prayers.

Dave, the reason you cant view the video is your browsers thinks its a pop up, when you click on the link you might see a little icon on the top right for a minute, click on it, or you may have to turn off your pop up blocker to see them.
Of course you should have a high speed connection as well, some of the movies above are rather large.
Now onto James, see the post to TSM above, as it turns out this may have been a cruel joke played on the general public, there is a rumor that the fine people at PG own the radio station that was so quick to broadcast the fate of PG Jim after the spill......hmmmmm.....makes you wonder...huh

There has been a big misunderstanding - Jim and I just spoke on the phone, we are going to bring back the handle James Cormier....
what we realized was he was exiled not because of his actions or us diagreeing on the site.... it appears that his disappearance coincidentally ocurred when the Patriots defeated my Steelers last year in the AFC Championship Game

Well now that's a logical reason for his disappearance!! LOL But does that mean he'll disappear again now that the Patriots have as well? hehehe Gotta, get ya with that one Jim!! :p HAve to admit like both Steelers and Patriots but think it was time for a changing of the guard, so to speak!

you do genuflect when you mention Brady's name, dont you????
could very well be Ben's time. Steelers play so well on the road (although it would have been sweet to get them up in new england....but when you drop the ball 3 times in a play off...you lose and dont get another chance to play the Steelers [yea, i'm a long time Patriots fan who is still in dismay...what went wrong?]anyway, I loved the way the Steelers handled the Colts and I aint a big fan of Denver....so i give my support to the Steelers.
was also disapointed the Bears got knocked out of the race on the NFC side
