Design some nice ones, for $50 bucks you could get 500 with the design.
It looks like crap. sorry. Your bussiness card is who you are.

We buy our business cards through a local print shop. We pay $35.00 per 1,000 cards. I think that professionally done business cards portray a professional image to your customers. If you make the cards yourself it will end up costing close to the same by the time you buy the card stock and use your printer. I wouldn't recommend giving those cards to potential clients.

disregard this post, the card didn't come out right, i think something happened to the file either when i saved it, or when i uploaded it. It is supposed to have a picture, as well as differernt colored text for the name

Why wouldn't you want to put your name on the card?

I don't want people knowing my name for some reason i guess.. Obviocly if they are my customers, they could know.. but if i advertise with door hangers and such, i wouldn't want my name on it.. Thats just me..

No, I wasn't talking about on this site. I put my name only on my bussiness cards. I dont put them on flyers and such things that get mass delivered.

Go to vistaprint.com
You can get 250 made for FREE, with only about $5 shipping.
P.S. Don't pay more for the faster shipping they usually arrive about the same time regardless.

I second that. i heard about vistaprint from this site and they were great. 250 with color logo for $20 plus $5 for shipping. Or you can just go with the standard
for free. I did both. Very good deal.

Yes it is way too plain. Your business card is your first impression . make it look good! NEBS does a great job for around 80 dollars. Raised ink and nice linen for the background. Dont worry I have seen alot of other guys cards on here and well they SUCK! Dont cludder it up! Keep it simple but professional looking. :D

Go to www.designoutpost.com and for $100 they will design you a professional looking logo. For another $100, they will design you a professional business card, letterhead & envelope with that logo. Since you are new to the business and have no reputation, your image is all you have. Make it project professionalism. At least spend the $100 and get a logo designed for you. If you don't have that much money, go to Gopher's website and get a free logo....at least that is a start.

Hi touhey33,
If you are working with a low-budget, you can always download our free logo backgrounds here (http://www.gophergraphics.com/index.cgi?page=artists) and create a logo for yourself. Then you can make some flyers or door hangers (http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=1;t=942). Show us what you create!
