Blade question

Say you had 25 lawns kept up with them so there were not over grown,how often would you sharpen your blades?
Do you sharpen them yourself or have them done?

At least once a week. I would probably sharpen them every 12-15 lawns, but I am anal about sharp blades. I do this myself using a blade grinder.

sharpen and replace blades every night. neary grinder, takes about 7 min. per machine. cheap insurance, to make sure the lawns look good.

Depending how large the lawns are, Might be easiest to have an extra set w/ you and switch mid day so you have a sharp blade every 12 - 15 yards or so as stated above. I only do smaller yards and use a 21" so it is easy to do. Did the same when I used Walkers (flip up deck = 5 minutes to change over).
