Toro Pro Line 37 Do or Don't...help

I am looking at maybe buying a toro pro line 37 " with mulching package, t-bar handle, 12.5 kohler engine, about 4 to 5 years old, will be finished next week if I want it. The dealer wants $1,795.00 for it. The dealer is a very repitable (sp) company. I am on my 2nd year of lawn care, with just 2- 22 inch mowers, one toro and the other craftsman both 6.5hp. Any wisdom from you would help me decide, I can't afford anything over $2000.00 right now.

you can get a new 36 toro with a fixed deck for 2500 and they have no payments no interest for one year. this may be a better deal in the long run

I agree firefish. Just bought a 2005 model for $2300. No payments for a year. $500 less than new ($600 w. mulching kit) would worry me. I would think a good belt fixed deck could be had for $1,000.
