I am thinking about buying some mud king mud tires and was wondering if any of yall have towed a trailer with them? Do they wear faster? Do they tow all that good on pavement?

I use trailering tires for hauling my trailers and mud tires for snow plowing. I wouldn't want to use the mud tires for everyday trailer use...they would wear way to fast. They are not built/designed for trailering. Aand at close to 200 bucks a piece I don't want to be spending close 800 on tires every few years. I just rotate between trailering and mud with the seasons.
Go to tirerack.com. You can read reviews on tires...you'll find most mud tires users rate the 'wear' as satisfactory.

I used to run 33" Mud Kings on my Toyota 4x4s when I had them. Good in the mud, not bad on pavement but they didn't last that long. My BFG a/ts lasted almost three times as long. I never trailered with them though.

Well...do the math...if you are keeping your truck for one more year and the mud tire is cheaper what's the problem?
Although...can you survive another year off the current tires and save 450 bucks?
