 We are thinking about setting up a web site. My questions are.
1. Do they bring business in or are they just something for a new or regular customer to look @?
2. Are they worth the money? payup
3. What is a good price?
4. Any sites to get started with?
Thanks for the help. All the web sites on this forum look great.

It depends on what services you offer. We only install paving stones.
We use our website, PaversInstalled.Com (http://paversinstalled.com)
to support our advertising. It allows people to see and read what are company is about.

Last night I signed a deal. They found us solely by doing a Google search.

It also adds value to the service we provide to our clients.

Peace,

Rex

Rex Mann...Thanks, it looks great :D . I guess the web does work. We do 40% stonework, 60% maintenance so I think it would help us too. Did you make the site, or did a service do it. Any ideas on cost $500, $1000, $2000.

I have just a basic site.....and its a free one. But the naming suffers because they want to tag on their name, but for free I don't care. If it works out I will purchase a domain name and go that route.

You can go here (http://www.prevatteslawnservice.zoomshare.com) and see it or click the link under my name.

How did you go about placing your website on google. Did you use one of their advertising tools, such as the one you only pay for the amount of hits your website gets. Thanks

We use Google adwords. We have had a website for a couple of years now. If you type in our company name it will come up for free on Google. If you type in "pavers phoenix" in Google we come up on the right because we pay to come up, however, you do not pay unless they click on your header. We use about 60 different adwords.

The adwords cost us about $40.00 a month with a great ROI.

Peace,

Rex
