I am changing from a "butter" color or light yellow to a athletic gray. Logo will be the same. Yellow really, really highlights the dirt.
I think I pay around 9 bucks a shirt....??? (wife orders them from a local printer)

I was going to post the same question, you beat me to it :) . I have used light gray and green but wasn't happy with either. The gray gets filthy very quickly and the green fades too fast.
Was a firm believer in gray cotton t's till last year when I tried a sports T made by Columbia. I had stopped at a local sporting goods store to check out the 'Under Armor' stuff and the clerk suggested the Columbia line as it is a looser fit (da 63 yr old bod ain't very tight if you know what I mean). Selected a medium gray, V-neck, L.. Tell you what - I now have a surplus of Gray cotton grease rags. I liked the new poly shirt so much that I went back to the store and cleaned off the rack. As to color of the shirts I guess you could classify me as a 'rainbow' (different color each day of the week). Just picked up a pair of poly boxers for a try, will be interesting as to how well they will keep the neither region drier.

I have a yellow shirt with black writing. They kinda scream for people to check us out while driving by.

Orange cotton t-shirts from Cinta's. $6.99 each.
Beefy-T's white by the dozen
I would use the grey ones if they were not blended with polyester!

Used light blue last year and year before. This year I switched to athletic grey. Printer gave me a better deal and I was tired of starting out with a nice looking shirt and by the end of the summer having the shoulders, back and chest area bleached from the sun and salt(sweat). Hopefully the grey will keep that from happening.

This year we are going with yellow shirts ($6.99 each) with stitched green name and stitched green and red logo ($12.00 each) on front only.
Last year we had white shirts with screen print name and logo, got dirty too fast.

We ran Navy Blue with white writing last year. This year I'm keeping the Navy Blue for the laundromat staff and going with a forest green on the lawncare side of things.
I also seem to walk around in my bright orange or red with white writing shirts however.

i was think of going with a light kahki with green for t shirts and for the polos white with the co logo stiched . the place my gf found were only 5 bucks a t shirt and a one time $40 setup fee not too bad i guess.

Forest green, so the dirt and sweat don't show. White lettering on back and left front chest.
I get them cheap, like $5 a piece, because the printer guy rents a storage unit across from mine, so he hooked me up.

Yellow polos, with red embroidered logo on the front. $12.00/ shirt. Got to look professional, if people look at your work and want to know who you are they will see the truck, so I didn't see the need to be have a billboard on my back.
