What are double blades

I have heard alot of you talking about double blades on walk behindes etc.Are you putting two blades on the bottom of the blade bolt or in the middle or what.ANY HELP WOULD BE APPECIATED.I live in Ms.and we have alot of bahia grass and I t hink these double blades would help my cutting time. THANKS MITCHELL
