Hey, totally new to the mowing world. I would like input on which mower I should buy. I'm buying a 48" walkbehind and like the J Deere and the Toro. Any help would be great.

In truth, its all up to what you like and dealers in your area. I have no idea where in TN you are. John Deere has the best service generally, but not necessarily the best mowers. Not bad, just may be others you would like better. Best thing to do is look over every mower you can find, drive them around, ask locals in your area that use them, research them here, and make the best decision for you.

See if you have a Hustler and eXmark dealer close by.

Hoss is correct, find the closest dealer then follow advice above. i have had good results from the toro products.

Wouldn't hurt to look into Scag or Exmark Mowers.
Take your time and Research, might want to consider buying
used maybe.
