48in walk behind toro or 48in ztr to start

i was curious if some one could give me some help on this one. I know i at least want to get a 48in. toro but which would be the best for just starting out. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd get the walk behind, for hillside stability.

Depends on the properties you are servicing. For starting out to keep overhead low I would chose a 48" belt dive. Later on when you are more established move up to a larger ZTR. Also like Appalachian landscape said, a walk behind can hold hills that a ZTR can't. This is very important if you can only buy one machine.

like stated above, what is your budget and what type of properties are you maintaining? Those should be the questions that you ask yourself

thanks guys i was looking for some suggestion between the two. I have been debating between the two for awhile.
