B&W laser printers, what do you guys use and rec?

I would like to get a decent new B&W laser. I would like to keep it under $300.00 what do you guys suggest that is a decent machine and can be had for that targeted price range? I need something for my bis this year and need it soon.

Try the Brother hl-1240. I have one. It cost just about $300.00. It's a great printer. The toner costs me about $.01 - $.02 per page. Very economical. The quality is impecable also.
