There was some discussion on here a while back about a new blade from Hustler that is supposed to help out a lot in wet grass and not clump as much. Can you tell me if this new blade is available yet and what would a set cost for a 60" super Z?
Thanks.

I just purchased some blades for the hustler. They said they were the new ones for the clogging issues. The ones I got were around $54 for the set. Basically it just looked like there was more of a sharpened edge. I thought they were suppose to have a higher sail.

They are sharpened almost to the center, they are no longer a "stepped" blade design, and the sail is considered a high lift sail.
Make sure you install the spacer kit with these blades when you put them on.

No, there has not been any design change in the FasTrak deck, plus your already using a similar blade set up to the new style for the Hustler Z and Super Z's.

My spacer kit came in but something still dont seem right. I gave the dealer the part number you listed. The kit came with shorter bolts and the same type of washer that was on my previous blades from the factory. So basically the only thing the dealer gave me different was the bolts. Not to mention the bolts are to short and they wont even start to thread to hold the blade. Do you have pics of the spacer kit???

Something is not right...
Are you converting your deck to the new style deck? did your deck originally have the offset blades?
refresh my memory, what size deck do you have? and what is the serial # of your mower?
You can e-mail me this information if you like.

Yes I am converting my old deck to the new style. the new blades are just like the ones you descibed. Almost sharpened to the center. model 03092314
ser no. 3324711831 It is a 27/60. What all does the spacer kit include. the bolts they gave me wont even work. They arent long enough. I just told them the part number you listed for the spacer kit and they ordered it.

I will look into this tomorrow when I can call the factory and get the information on the length of the bolt in the kit.
Did your unit have offset blades? before you are making this change? or are they flat?

They were offset blades. I will post a pic of the new blades and what the spacer pic consisted of.

I had our parts department take a look at this picture you posted....
You dont have the right items, they think someone gave you the wrong items.
The bolts are not right, and you dont have the spacers either.
