Commercial Accounts

I'm guessing it's a little to late for me to go all out for getting commercial accounts this year. From reading posts it seems like the best way is to do cold calls. How long before the season do you start soliciting new business? For those of you that plow to, when do you start looking for new accounts?
Any other advice? Not sure if my profile says or not, but I'm in Michigan.

When you get off LawnSite for 1-2 hours and start contacting commercials in your area..
