Did I provide too much information for you folks to give me what you would have bid, or am i just on everyone's ignore list??? :)
This is the first hotel that I have bid on and am looking for some feedback.
The guy didnt act suprised at the price, but he didnt say to get started either.

no way did you over bid
based on the plans.
70 plants 16.50 mark up to 22.50= 1575.00 plus tax6% 94.50
3265 sqft. equals 32 yds. of mulch at 65.00 yd. installed = 2080 plus tax on amount of 592.00
1000 for shrub trimming 3 times
500 for weeding and clean up. I would apply pre-m if you are certified. then you wont have to weed. Also planting includes soil amendments
total bid from me would be
materials with sales tax 2297.02
labor for mulch and plantings 2952.48
trimming shrubs 1000.00
total $ 6,749.50

# of plants listed on drawing are existing plants. These need to be trimmed.
The plants that i will be planting are things like pansies @ $5.00 per flat. These will be changed out 5 times per season. I only plan on putting in 30 of these types of plants each time.
