Hey guys I have a JD 317 and I was wondering what can I do so when I work in a yard its not marking it up to bad. I dont like all the ruts or how it tears up the grass, any suggestions or should I accept it? Thanks

Pretty much comes with the territory, Crafty. You can try to get some 3/4" plywood and run on that, or I have seen the alterna-mats, it is the same idea, but they are more durable, they are some type of poly, I believe.

AL pretty much hit it. Other than the A300, there might not be a machine that can turn on lawns without tearing it up. One possible idea is to put turf tires on the 317 if you do a lot of lawn work...
