Hello Again, Thanks for your quick response. I'm glad your 48 Stander X is working out for you. Just wondering did you Demo a 52 inch before you bought the 48?. If so was there a big difference in the cut quality? I'm in Colorado (Littleton Area) and have been doing Commercial Landscaping for 10 plus years, So no gates at all but still am on the fence between the two Machines as sometimes we do bag and adding a gobbler to a 52 makes it even that much wider. Have you noticed that your 48 scalps at all since it does not have that extra Anti scalp wheel on it's trim side? I also called Wright Mgf. and they said there is about 1 Inch of overhang on each side of the 48, is that true? as no one here has a 48 Stander X demo. It's funny because I've read several post's where others have had the same problem deciding as well and you would think that 4 inch's would not drive you crazy but it has. Thanks in advance for your help as it's nice to talk with a fellow Landscaper. Larry

Hello, Welcome to the site. This site is full of great folks, folks that are very knowledgeable. As for my Stander X, It has been awesome with nary a problem. I am glad I got the 48" mainly because it let me get into some areas that a 52" would not. I have lawns with fences. Fences that were built without the landscaper in mind. Fortunately the gates are 60" and I am able to get through. It seems where I live, more and more people are putting up fences therefore, the 48" makes it much less likely for me to run into issues. As for the lack of overhang on the 48", it has not been a problem either. Once you get the hang of the controls, you will be surprised with how close you can actually. Having the extra overhang would have been great but I couldn't afford possibly having a deck too large to get through gates. Where do you live? Feel free to email with any other questions you may have at ariemcd@gmail.com

Hello, new to the site and not sure if you will get this anytime soon, but I was wondering how your 48 Stander X has worked out for you?. I'm in the process of buying a stander X and can't decide between the 52 or 48 deck size. I was wondering if there is any overhang on the trim side on the 48 deck? as I know there is about 2 inch's on each side of the 52. I'm worried about running over Irrigation heads with the 48 since you have to get pretty close with no overhang and or just creating more trimming for myself. Thanks - Hope your season is going well - Larry
