I'd appreciate it if you could provide me some insight about the range of possibilities for both running/promoting my lawn care company as "all green."

If you wouldn't mind letting me pick your brain, I'd appreciate you calling me at 913-488-4376.

Cleanair, I've been researching a business idea I have about running an eco-friendly lawn care company. I keep thinking that starting a lawn mowing business that runs solely on battery power could be a good idea.

My market would probably be small-residential. It looks like you have some experience with this, and I was hoping to pick your brain. Do you think it would be possible to make money using only Stihl battery-powered equipment? The start up cost for this would be high, but since there would be no future gas or oil costs, I feel like it would even out.

Also, I'm worried it would be hard to mow muliple yards with only the relatively small, Stihl, battery-powered mower.

      Any advice would be appreciated.

      Thanks!

I live in SW Durham, close to Chapel Hill. No preservation experience, and probably couldn't do Roxboro, but would be willing to help in Durham.
