Sorry to reply so late. I was at a graduation party. I am very interested. I can probably make it there tomorrow evening. Where in Austin are you?

Is the unit all original (never replaced motor etc)? How old is it? Any thing broken or other issue that I should know about?

I won't waste your time and ask that you don't waste mine. If the mower is as clean as it looks in your pics and runs like new I'll drive there tomorrow with $1400 cash.

Concerning your Scag walk behind........I'm in Tomball, TX (NW of Houston). Was planning to buy new Metro with grass catcher tomorrow afternoon. Any chance you would meet me somewhere between Austin & Houston? Best price with sulky? I have $$$

how much Ed......to drop the mower off in southern indiana? Ill be honest, im interested in the mower at a price of 3500, not sure if i am adding on delivery charges. I know its a good deal even at 4000 total, but i cant come up with that much cash right now. But anyway, what would you have to get to drop it off? thanks,

I need to open a new id that will be more difficult for people to know who I am and where I live. I was hopeful that after the problem passes
I could go back and resume with the original id. I understand that you can't have 2 ids active at the same time correct?

I could close all the threads you've started so that nobody could post in them but can't automatically archive them...and by stealth mode, what do you mean? deactivate your account?

There are only a handful of soil places in all of Austin. You have Organics by Gosh, Gardenville (TDS owned), The Natural Gardener (retail oriented), and Whittlesey. There are some smaller places like I have Advanced Organic Material down the road from me that relocated from Del Valle last year.

Whittlesey is about your only choice if you want it in your area. Organics By Gosh is who I use. They don't flash compost their material like everyone else. They compost their stuff for closer to a year.

The wrights are 36" and the scag stander is 48". We no longer care for the wrights because they just don't give as good a cut as scag and snapper WB machines. When comparing our scag tiger cub to the ultra both 48" we give the nod to the ultra. It takes up less room on trailer and cuts just fine. Our ultra is run by crew chief so I havent' ever run it but I don't want to think of standing for several hours each day.

i read your post from a few years ago and have to ask if you still feel the same. Do you like the scag better than the wright. I am looking to get a 52 and am really torn between the two. Have never had a stander but heard nothing but great things about them. I currently have a exmark lazer z and a john deere both 52 and riders and a 52 scag and 36 scag and like the cut of my scags the best. Do you still like the scag stand up better. Thank you very much.
