I got some good advice for you on getting business, I don't want to widely advertise all my tricks, my competitors are on this site too. But I can give you some solid advice on getting lawns fast....so the issue will become "when" you get them...not "if" you get them,
Hsieh call me up I'm at 321-890-4501
wow what great advice! thanks! i will call lawn mowing companies in the phone book and see if they need any help or want to split some work. people say don't use the phone book but anytime i need something i use it. when i had to have a tree cut down though i used a reference from a friend.
Hi Hsieh. You do not need one cent to get started as a lawncare company. You need jobs. You can find jobs riding a bicycle around yourt areas looking for jobs that need your attention. Equipment dosen't get you ANY job. Only your mouth will do that and you already own that. How do you get the equipment? Most lawnmen are not very good salesmen. In fact I am the full-time salesman for 10 companies in my town...because I am good at it and they aren't. It is simple. See the work, meet the person that can decide to hire you. Give them a good price. How do you get the equipment? Easy. Many lawn men in your area, THAT ALREADY MADE THE INVESTMENT, will love to Partner up with you on your jobs. Not a full-time official partnership...just take it job-by-job. Ask them "If I get the jobs, would you want to help me do them and we'll split the profits? Many will say yes. Look for guys that appear to be "solo operators" You can call their ads. You won't have to call very many until you find someone that needs your help. You must force yourself to find work.
Even if you had $199,000, you'd still need to "sell" the jobs. or you will fail 100%.
Don't like selling? Do not get into the business because you need to do it EVERYDAY>
Get real good at It and get rich....without spending a dime. Fancy ads don't get customers....your eyes (seeing the work that should be done) and your mouth (asking the customer if they would like you to do it for them) is where the work comes from. Most lawn services buy a bunch of nice gear then, fail at getting out and meeting new customers. You should follow this simple advice...I got 750 new customers in 2008, and this is my 27th year of getting huge amounts of business. It is so easy...and cost's nothing.
