Man its up to you, I personally hate to buy someone else's heartache and problem. I am a shiny new kinda guy myself. Since you have 4k in your budget, you might step up to the sport its a little heavier built...

I go as far as a dealer to have motor, and both left and right ezt trannys in stock, although most dealers do not due to room and cost. I had an fr melt at 6 hours on one of those, they were fixed in 2 hours and gave us a $300 tip cause they thought it was gonna be 4 weeks to fix it like their other dealer.... Don't ever shop mowers only, your main concern is your dealer. When I was shopping I got to the point where I would point at a few parts like idlers, tires, bearings, belts, blades and tell them to grab them for me as I wanted to buy them for extra back up, every dealership would come back with 1 or 2 of the requested parts and I would say thank you sir... That was until I became my own dealer. I get challenged a lot, and I take off new mower if I have too...lol.

Man I will be honest with you, I have 2 people running raptors commercially right now, one mows 30 a week. Make sure you have a good dealer for that will fix your little stuff on your trailer while you wait. When you buy it make sure he has spindles in stock for you, the deck lift rod on the front of the deck, fan pulley kit, and brake lever assembly for trans, belts, blades, tires both back and front, wheel bearings, wheels, and the bracket assembly on the left side of the deck when you buy or atleast order them for stock. Make sure he isn't gonna make you wait days to fix the smaller stuff you will be ok. If he doesn't want to stock parts and fix you immediately on the trailer when little stuff breaks, find another dealer. I don't recommend a homeowner mower to any guy mowing over 1 acre a week, but it happens. Make dang sure the dealership is a+ or you will go under quick....
