I was looking to start with something around a 5x8 but the general consensus seems to be that starting with a 6x12 or 14 just makes more sense if i do ever plan to expand. and in the end will probably save a couple of bucks. Hopefully i can find something decent used to start with a little cheaper then 1300 for a new one. :)

      Thanks Again

Only $600 for a 12x6 used? How good of shape was it in? Worked well for that long? Thanks very much for the advice its good to know i appreciate it.

i did want something smaller but i think a 6x12 or if the 6x14 price is right i'll work with it.

But thanks again for the advice its nice to have :)

My 06 Triton did not cut so great. They put the fix on it and it cuts good. The fix was to speed up the tip speed and add a baffle to the trim side. But the baffle does pack in the grass. My 08 Triton came with the baffle already installed. I took the baffle out of both of them and no more packing unless the grass is super wet. I cut some wet lawns today and did shoot a few clumps but no more than my ultracuts use to throw. I don't know what issues with the blades and engine would be. I have always used high lift blades. I have the 28efi engines on both of mine.

Having problems with my Triton. Sounds like they worked on yours. Having packing problems under the deck and clumping issues. Did they fix it, and how do you like it now? They told me there was something wrong with the engine and blade issues. Thanks
