G'day Retrodog, I'm trying to find either the spec's or an alternative for a hydro filter for my Grav Compact Pro 34. Part #00669300, they're as rare as hens teeth here in Australia and stupidly expensive to import....if you could help I'll dance at your wedding or have a beer for you, or something.......

Retrodog, thanks the info on Grammar seat. I am set on buying one from you, but before I order I would like to ask which model it is. Looking over Grammar's site, they have few models it could be. Is it the MSG65? I would call your shop but I hate to bother your guys as they surely pretty busy.

Hello Retrodog. I have a 2014 Hustler Super Z HD and am looking to buy the Grammar seat for it. I called your shop to purchase one and the guys seem really great. But before I buy, can I ask is the seat the same one as sold on the 2015 Super Z's? Thanks for you time. Ned

      Hello,
I'm considering a 35hp cat diesel bad boy. Have a gas Ferris and the ride is way better than my old Scag. Any comment on how the compression shock and suspension seat on the Bad Boy compare? Would love to try one locally but Bad Boy doesn't have much presence in my area.

Hey man it rides really well. With the grammer it rides just as good as the ferris. What is awesome is tbe 15500 proce point and i never have issues with the rubber shocks.. good luck man on ur decision u cant beat a 4 cylinder 35hp diesel though ..lol

Retro you told Decil that the Maverick is one of your best selling BBs this year. I have a local one with the 60" deck and the Kohler Confidant. Would you go with this one or go hunt down one with the Kawasaki FS?
      1. retrodog
        retrodog
Its up to.you. the confidant has a much better air filter sytem but kawasaki is easier to deal with on parts and warranty claims

      Sir
Am about to buy a bad boy.
      Kawasaki or kholer?
Have 5 acres. Will purchase 60" deck.
Was gonna get a zt but noticed a maverick for 6 grand , can't quite tell what the difference is.
And how far are you from Houston ?
Am in Alvin and don't have issue of a hundred mile radius to purchase from one who helps so many.
      1. retrodog
        retrodog
The zt has a 500 to 800 hour motor and transmission expected life span and the maverick has a 2500 to 3500.. suspension, adjustable handles, roll bar.. the maverick is my best sell by far this year last year was the zt. I upgrade the seats which adds $200 to the price kohler is 6200 here due to the seat upgrade and the Kawasaki is 6600.

the stock seat is a rock I have one left if you want it though. I noticed you have a dealer in your home town. if there is an issue there lmk and I can fix you up don't want bb to lose a sale due to a deadbeat dealer. I can bring to your house if that's the case 5803177672 lmk we can bring it tomorrow. if no issue please buy local

Hey Retro, since you sell Bad Boy, what is your opinion on the Maverick 60" with the 24 Kawasaki? Is that enough HP? This is my only reservation about picking one up.

        retrodog
Yes sir! It's an amazing mower. I would personally upgrade the seat to the Outlaw seat or the Grammer seat as I personally don't like the way it feels as much. The 24hp kawasaki is the same motor I called 26hp before the suit

Yes its plenty. Its the 26hp and thats plenty of power. Dont let the ratings fool u. Its the same motor we have used for years...

Thanks, I pulled the trigger 3 weeks ago :) It handles my grass with no problems whereas my old Cub Cabet RZT50" 22HP FH661V would bog down terrible. The Maverick took my 3 hour job down to 2 hours. Roughly 3 acres.

Hey retrodog, I'm in the market for a new mower, I've been looking at the Altoz xp540z, but since they're a new company it's been tough to find reviews for them. I see you have one for sale and I wanted to get your opinion of this mower or if I need to be looking for something else like the Outlaw XP. I will be cutting 4 acres of st augustine every 4 to 5 days. The ground is flat and fairly smooth, I know these are probably more mower than I need but I want this thing to last awhile. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks in advance
      Robert

I quit carrying them just to high-priced. .. I couldn't justify the pricing difference to just end up with a Gravely grasshopper or bad boy instead. . The new spartan mower...now that's another story.. lol

Was wondering if you still rebuild EZT 2200s?
Got one that runs good until it heats up and then just gets noisy and doesn't want to pull.
Tried purging air from system. No help.
Havent checked fluid level yet. Seems to have a leak somewhere.(hydro fluid on frame body)
Gonna due a fluid swap first but since my luck is pretty terrible. Anticipating the worst and gonna have to go into hydro. Just wondering what to look for to identify potential problems and what normally needs to be replaced. Also seems as if the bypass rods are really hard to pull as well if that means anything.
Just looking for some insight and suggestion.
      Thanks in Advance.
