500 hours isn't many hours for a Magnum. I sold one to my buddy (homeowner) that has over 2500 hours on it and I heard it running yesterday again. It sounds great.
One of the members here did this swap on a 60" Chopper. The mounting plate wasn't an issue as far as I know. You will need the new wiring harness for the Command and if it has the coolers, a new mount for them unless you can adapt the old cooler mount. Good Luck.
