I cleaned toilets with a toothbrush for .50 cents and hour when minimum wage was 2.25. I worked through middle and high school. 60 hours a week some times in the hot summer.
I walked to school in the snow with no jacket and wet gelled back hair. i was trying to be cool in the 80s.
then i learned how to skate half pipes and the rest is history.
