The old boxy body is the 88 to 93 model trucks they had the 12 valve engines those are the trucks the sheet metal viberated. You drove a musical instrument down the road. The engine could be idling and you can see the sheet metal viberate. When the body panels got loose it amplified the noise to a rattle. The noise of a ratting diesel plus the noise of cheap sheet metal made the old Dodges really noisy especially when the box supports that hold the bottom edge of the box broke and it would viberate.
