I run a 4 instead of 28 but pretty sure all ryans use same type unsealed bearings thus requiring more frequent lube. So lube daily during high use, those bearings take a beating and are $ to replace.
Also keep chains clean and spray with wd-40 or similar.
Engine manual probably came seperate from ryan manual but 30w oil should be ok. Maybe post engine type for more help.
