I have noticed now that I have the foot throttle again I'm using more fuel. I would set the throttle 3/4 on the 70XT. The big thing is I have been doing a lot of two speed woofin material and loading trucks and that seems to really eat the fuel. If I'm doing finish raking with the Eliminator it seems like it goes forever on a tank.
That is funny you say that we have a big debate at going on about this. I think it is better to use the foot pedal, or at least that is what I am use to and I always use. My foreman always sets the stick and uses it. I would be really interested to see which is more efficient in the long run.
