I'm not sure how it died. It was my father's and as far as I know it just wouldn't turn on one day. He took it to a local dealer that told him that he had a broken crank shaft. He didn't even think they even looked at it and of course they tried to sell him a new tractor. He took it home and it's been sitting there for a couple years. I told him I would go take it to get looked at for him, but instead he just gave it to me. I started taking it apart and that's when I obviously found the valve guide issue.

There is no easy way to pull the guide out and put a new one in?
